Tessera Health is an Australian health business. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). You can contact us about privacy at info@tesserahealth.com.au.
What we collect
Through this website, we only collect your email address and anything you choose to include when you contact us. The site has no accounts and doesn't save anything you type into it.
How we collect it
When you use "Notify me" or email us directly. The "Notify me" button opens your own email app, so your message comes to us as an ordinary email.
Why we use it
To reply to you and to let you know when we launch. We don't sell or rent your information, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
Health information
Health information is "sensitive information" under the Privacy Act. Please don't send health details through this website. Where we handle health information in our services, we'll only collect it with consent and will protect it with extra care.
Storage and security
Emails are stored in our business email system. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above.
Overseas disclosure
This site is hosted by Netlify and uses Google Fonts. To deliver the page, these providers process technical details such as your IP address and browser type, and may store them outside Australia, including in the United States. Our email provider may also store data overseas.
Access and correction
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@tesserahealth.com.au.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
